Frank Broen is a national expert with over 40 years of experience communicating complex transportation issues across planning, operations, and data analytics. He recently served as Primary Investigator for NCHRP 52-16 (Visualization of Highway Performance Measures) and developed the NCHRP 25-47 Access Management Toolkit. Frank holds leadership roles within several TRB committees, including Visualization in Transportation and the Communication Coordinators Council.

As President of Teach America, he has managed over 26 national conferences and developed AASHTO award-winning learning tools. His visualization work for the Florida DOT has significantly improved the communication of performance measures and roadway data. Frank’s technical versatility—ranging from drone photography and infographics to interactive apps and technical guides—ensures high-impact success for every project.
