Our Mission

JFA is committed to providing thorough and objective research, analysis, and solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

Who We Are

We are experts in economics and public policy analysis. Our management and staff are composed of economists, statisticians, financial analysts and public policy practitioners who coordinate research with our cadre of technical experts in engineering and the physical and social sciences. Members of our management team have decades of experience in providing industry leading research and consulting services. While our core skill set lies in economic and public policy analysis, the breadth of our experience managing diverse teams of experts enables us to provide superior analysis on a wide range of issues.

JFA was founded by Jack Faucett. After pioneering the discipline of input-output modeling, as part of a team led by Nobel Laureate Wassily Leontief, Mr. Faucett founded JFA in 1963. JFA’s diversity of studies in the first few years included developing capital investment forecasting techniques for the National Economic Strength Model and documenting potential timber use in Appalachia. Since then, the diversity of our clients and successfully completed projects has grown exponentially. JFA has completed more than 1,500 tasks on over 700 contracts for all levels of government, industry, and the non-profit sector.
