Transportation planner with consulting experience and grounding in formal academic research with a bent for coordination, administration, and project management. My recent career experience has been in company operations; internal administration and reporting, which built on my previous experience in project report and maintaining internal processes. My responsibilities include developing and applying policies, training company affiliates on procedures, as well as reporting key performance indicators and progress on internal initiatives.
My analytics skills are extensive. I have nearly 20 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, using Microsoft Excel, ESRI ArcGIS/ArcMAP, R and Tableau. This includes automating repeated processes, managing databases, and developing dashboards.
My transit specific qualifications include over 10 years of experience in long-range transportation planning (focusing on Bus Rapid Transit) and published peer-reviewed articles and reports on the effects of fixed guideway transit over time, with a focus on TOD/Transit Oriented Development. I am a member of two TRB standing committees: Light Rail Transit Committee (AP075) and Public Transportation Planning and Development (AP025).
