Phil Iweda
Junior Historian

Phil earned a dual bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in History and Political Science, specializing in human rights and urban history. He is currently a Master’s student at Humboldt University in Germany, where he researches the efforts of immigrant minorities to achieve equal rights.

Previously, Phil served as an assistant curator at the Magnes Museum, refining his ability to organize archival materials into compelling narratives for public exhibitions. Now, as a junior historian with Jack Faucett Associates, he applies his curatorial background to develop digital exhibitions highlighting underserved groups in Raleigh. Phil also supports the HEAL team by managing archival research and organizing oral histories to develop sustainable solutions for historically overlooked communities.
