JFA was successful in several California Enterprise Zone applications submitted by clients, including the City of Oakland, City of Los Angeles, San Joaquin County, Monterey County, and Kings County, to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for consideration of Enterprise Zone designation. The applications included research on regional economic development plans, job development plans, and regional socioeconomic conditions in relation to poverty rates, crime, unemployment, housing foreclosures, business closures, and military base closures.
